Koşul Cümleleri ( Type 3 ) Örnekleri

KULLANIMI

Koşul cümlesi Type 3 Geçmişte olmamış olay ve durumlar hakkında konuşmak için kullanılır.Konuşmacı farklı bir geçmiş olayı hayal eder ve bu yapıda cümle kurar.
♣ Örnek : If I had run , I would have caught the bus : Eğer koşsaydım , otobüse yetişirdim .( But I didn’t run, so I didn’t catch the bus : Ama koşmadım ve otobüse yetişmedim )

♣ If she hadn’t slept early , she would have watced the horror film : Eğer o erken uyumasaydı , korku filmini seyredecekti.( But she slept early , she didn’t watch the horror film. : Ama o erken yattı ve korku filmini seyretmedi )
NOT : If clause daki past perfect tense geçmişteki hayali ( düşünsel ) bir olayı tanımlar.

EXERCISES ( ALIŞTIRMALAR )

1 ) If she had studied hard , she would have passed her exams : Eğer o sıkı ders çalışsaydı sınavlarını geçerdi.
2 ) I would have missed if I hadn’t hurried : Eğer acele etmeseydim , treni kaçıracaktım.
3 ) If he hadn’t drunk all the cans of beer , he wouldn’t have been sick : Eğer tüm kutu biraların hepsini içmeseydi , hastalanmayacaktı.
4 ) If there hadn’t been open window , the burglar would never have got in the house : Eğer açık pencere olmasaydı , hırsız asla eve giremezdi.
5 ) Would you have married me if we had met five years ago ? Eğer beş yıl önce tanışsaydık benimle evlenirmiydin ?
6 ) If they had known your address , they would have visited you : Eğer senin adresini bilselerdi , seni ziyaret edeceklerdi.
7 ) If the driver had been more careful , he wouldn’t have had the accident : Eğer şöför daha dikkatli olsaydı , kaza yapmayacaktı.
8 ) If she hadn’t spent all her time in front of the television , she would have finished her homework before dinner : Eğer tüm zamanını televizyonun önünde geçirmeseydi , ödevini akşam yemeğinden önce bitirecekti.

DURUMA UYGUN IF CLAUSE ( KOŞUL CÜMLESİ )

1 ) I didn’t understand the question,so I couldn’t answer it : Soruyu anlamadım bu nedenle cevaplayamadım.
If I had understood the questions , I would have answered it : Eğer soruyu anlasaydım , cevaplayabilirdim.

2 ) My father didn’t have much money two years ago : Babamın iki yıl önce çok parası yoktu.
If he had had a lot of money , he would havebought a bigger house : Eğer babamın çok parası olsaydı, daha büyük bir ev satın alacaktı.

3 ) I didn’t know she was coming at 5 p.m. : Onun saat akşam 5 de geleceğini bilmiyordum.
If I had known she was coming at 5 p.m. , I would have met her at the airport : Eğer onun akşam 5 de geleceğini bilseydim ,onu hava alanında karşılayacaktım.

4 ) You didn’t ask me to help you : Benden sana yardım etmemi istemedin.
If you had asked me to help you  with your homework last night , I would have helped you : Eğer dün gece ödevin için sana yardım etmemi isteseydin , sana yardı m ederdim.

5 ) I couldn’t learn the last unit yesterday.
If I hadn’t sat at the back of the class yesterday , I would have heard better and learnt the lesson : Eğer dün sınıfta arka sırada oturmasaydım , daha iyi işitir ve dersi öğrenirdim.

6 ) John called his mother when he arrived in Paris : John Parise varınca annesine telefon edip aradı.
If he hadn’t called his mother , she would have got worried about him : Eğer John annesini aramasaydı , annesi onu merak edecekti.

7 ) She didn’t come to my party : O benim partime gelmedi.
If she had come , she would have “met all my school friends. Eğer partime gelseydi , bütün okul arkadaşlarımla tanışacaktı.

8 ) There were few people at the meeting, that’s why they cancalled it : Dün toplantıda çok az insan vardı .Bu nedenle toplantıyı iptal ettiler.
If there had been a lot of people at the meeting , they wouldn’t have cancalled it : Eğer dün toplantıda çok insan olsaydı , toplantıyı iptal etmezlerdi.
